Twillium™

InterWrap's patented TWILLIUM™ twill weave fabric sets new standards for woven polyolefin fabric surface smoothness and aesthetic appearance. TWILLIUM™ is ideal for fabric structures in both commercial and recreational markets, and other high strength durability applications where premium aesthetics are sought after such as covers, tarps, banners, and liners.  TWILLIUM™ provides a real alternative to heavier, lower strength, and costlier PVC. Available in category leading weight range 9-12.0 oz/yd2 (300-408 g/m) and a bold array of vibrant, non-fading colors.

The unique twill weave structure of TWILLIUM™ provides excellent soft hand and flexibility, so it is much easier to convert, handle, and install. The TWILLIUM™ twill weave structure allows the fabric to be folded without surface coating cracking and breach that is common in some competitive olefin fabrics; this is critical in converting applications where finished product is folded over to facilitate shipment.  The TWILLIUM™ twill weave structure is also fundamentally low in wicking due to the tape weave construction, as compared to other types of polyolefin fabric weaves. This significantly reduces the possibility of liquid moisture buildup within the fabric should there be a breach in the surface coating. This results in a lower propensity for liquids to migrate within the inner weave and reduces mold and other algae buildup, which can cause visible streaking.

TWILLIUM™ has superior cold crack (down to - 60F/- 50C!) and abrasion resistance, again, a result of the unique patented construction, which produces a very smooth and flexible structure. The twill weave structure provides a very uniform and flat surface for the engineered coatings to lay down, which reduces the possibilities of surface defects, enhances surface abrasion properties, and reduces coating fracture related issues. The super smooth surface of  TWILLIUM™ produces an industry leading low coefficient of friction, which reduces snow-loading effects. This gives fabric structure designers' greater flexibility in arch support construction for both functional and aesthetic value.

TWILLIUM™ is engineered to exceed a variety of stringent fire retardancy and UV exposure standards such as California & Boston Fire Marshall, NFPA 701, CAN/ULC S-109, UBC 31-1, UL/ULC, ASTM E-84 Class 1, BS 7837, and other European standards.
